STUART'S PANORAMIC WORLD     MASTERTRONIC - WHAT IF?

The random ramblings of a Star Trek-obsessed schools ICT Systems Manager who likes a good moan.
This is a place where I can whinge about life, and express my love of my family, 80's music, retro computer gaming (especially on my Commodore 64),
oh and Star Trek. I'm very open with my opinions and I like a good moan. If you don't like what I say, then you might want to consider not reading this blog.

Stuart's Panoramic World 15 - Evesham, December 2015

Blimey.  My 360° panoramas are like buses - None for ages, and then two come along together!  This one is an aerial view of Evesham, showing the river Avon, the town centre, Bell Tower (with lots of scaffolding), Waterside and Bengeworth.

Stuart's Panoramic World 14 - Elmley Castle, 2015

It's been awhile since my last 360 panorama.  Having had the chance to play with a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Drone, I've been doing some aerial views.  This one was taken yesterday at Elmley Castle, a small village near to Evesham and at the base of Bredon Hill.

Retro Game Boys Episode 4 - Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64)

After a slight break (blasted real life getting in the way), the boys return.  This time they look at Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64, and also look at a couple of retro computer books currently available to buy.

Songs that remind me of my childhood Number 39 - Keeping The Dream Alive (M√ľnchener Freiheit)

Wow, here's a blast from the past.  I loved this song when I was younger, and completely forgot about it until hearing it on the radio earlier today.

I had some serious childhood flashbacks after hearing this one again after such a long time.

Released in 1988, it peaked at number 14 in the UK Charts during December of that year and is apparently known as being a Christmas song due to it being released during the festive season, even though the song has no link to Christmas at all.

Crank up the volume and listen to that awesome orchestral sound.  It always reminds me of a bit of a mix of ELO and the stuff Paul McCartney released in the 80s.

Enjoy.
