Happy New Year....

I very much doubt that I will get another opportunity this year to wish you all a very happy New Year and a wonderful 2007... So...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As I write this Michelle, Kieran and I are enjoying our little break back in Laindon. We've already braved Basildon today (I forgot just how busy that place can get - especially a week after Christmas). After treating Michelle to some clothes, and Kieran to a radio controlled Noddy car, we decided to head back to my parents house, only to get soaked as the heavens decided to open.

Still, it's always nice to wander around my old stomping grounds, especially since I haven't had a chance to do it for nearly five months. I've been trying to get in contact with my old friends but I guess they are all busy with their own New Year plans. So.... Happy New Year, and I hope to be able to see and speak to you soon in 2007!! :)

Roll on 2007!

Here I am again with another picture of Kieran playing with his new toys.

This one was an xmas present from his Granny and 'Gampy' (Michelle's folks), and although we are really grateful.... Where are we gonna store the bloody thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We're thinking of building a garage, or an extension so that we can store all of Kieran's new toys!

Anyway, it is now the 27th December, and Christmas has finally gone. I hate saying it, but I am glad. As I have mentioned here before I am not a very festive person. I am probably the most least religious person on the planet, and Christmas for me is a very depressing time of year. That probably sounds really selfish of me now that I am married with a young son, but I do have reasons which I do not wish to talk about here. Don't get me wrong though, watching Kieran opening his presents was wonderful and I look forward to it again next year, but the whole Christmas thing for me just gets me really down and sad. I can't wait for things to get back to normality again.

Anyway, there is something I am looking forward to before going back to work - spending the New Year with my Mum and Dad. Michelle, Kieran and I are heading to Laindon tomorrow evening and staying until Tuesday to see in the New Year back home. Its a great opportunity for us to see my folks, and hopefully see my friends too as I still miss them all more than ever.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I'm not a very festive person, but I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year...

As you can see from the picture, I think this Chrimbo is going to be a very noisy one!

Anyway, I'd better get back to putting together Kieran's new toys.

Commodore Plus 4 - Exorcist

I've been going through my increasing collection of 'unfinished' and 'finished-but-I-don't-like-the-sound-of-that' songs which I have written on my PC, looking for songs which I can upload to my site.

I found one which I thought I'd put online for all of you to hear...

Its a remix of the theme tune to an old Commodore Plus 4 game from the 80's called Exorcist. Some of you may have heard it awhile back as it was on my website for a short time before I removed it.

Download it here!

The game was a weird one, with you playing Sparkie. The aim of the game was simple - you had to illuminate the walls without getting caught by the ghosts. Your typical 80's style maze game.

They don't like em like that anymore!

Kieran the stuntman!

I'm on holiday!!! School has finished for Christmas so I'm off work till the 3rd January.

Had another driving lesson today. Drove round town, (same route as before) and did another three-point turn - I am getting better.... Honest. Had a go at reversing round a corner (which I did really well), and then had a ride along the Evesham bypass and through town.

Kieran had a little accident and we thought we were going to have to take him to casualty. He was playing, but got a little carried away running in the living room, tripped over and whacked his head on the edge of my surround sound sub and amplifer which is next to the television (in true stuntman style). He had a pretty big lump come up on his forehead, and took a big lump of skin out which bled quite a bit, but after a few seconds crying he was fine and went back to playing.

I took a photo, but the lump had practically gone down by the time I had taken it. He's just got a scab now (which he insists on scratching!!)

I think it looked worse than it actually was.

And since I've been posting quite a few photos of Kieran on my Blog lately, I thought I'd include the following one - Action pose Kieran (perhaps he is trying to imitate Sportacus on the TV?)

Anyway, only 4 days till Chrimbo, and am I looking forward to it? Not really. Actually, besides watching Kieran opening his presents in the morning, I'm just looking forward to the xmas Doctor Who special on BB1 (sad aren't I).

Bah Humbug!

England 0 - Poland 1

I've come to the conclusion that 'alot' of people in this country are arrogant, selfish, and damn-right unpleasant.

Kieran was playing happily down the park by the river yesterday and got friendly with a very kind Polish boy who was also playing in the park. The polish boy's Mum stood by (hardly spoke any English, but hey!) and let the two boys play. Now, another family (British) came along with their son. WHAT A F**KING STUCK UP, SPOILT LITTLE BRAT. He wouldn't let Kieran on the slide, and kept pushing him out of the way, and pulling stupid faces at Kieran. His name was Sebastien and what was so annoying was that his stuck up parents were just standing, watching him.

Again, I took Kieran to the same park today, and Kieran was happily playing on the slide and climbing frame until some old geezer decided to bring his awful two grandsons into the park, and once again one of them began to push Kieran, blocking his way so that he couldn't get onto the climbing frame, and all the old man seemed to be interested in was smoking his fag.

DO PEOPLE NOT TEACH THEIR CHILDREN MANNERS OR HOW TO SHARE??

Kieran has always been a kind, gentle boy who loves to share his toys with other people (especially when he goes to Playgroup). When he goes to the park, he always lets the other kids go on the slide before him. I'd like to think that its because Michelle and I have taught him the simple things like how to share etc.

Kieran.... oneday when you are old enough to read this, I want you to know how bloody proud I am of you.

Oh.... and my opinion of the Polish has changed. Evesham might be full of them, but they have more decency and respect than a lot of the British citizens who live around here.

Are you ready for your closeup..... OUCH!

We had a professional photo of Kieran done at his Playgroup two weeks ago (his first one!), and today we finally received the photo!

Here it is!!!!!

Look at him smiling.... shame he won't be tomorrow as he is having his Pneumococcal meningitis jab at the health centre!!...

... Poor sod.

Gone with the wind...

Were you woken up last night by that ferocious wind and rain?? We were well and truely batten here in Evesham (as was much of the UK by the sounds of it!!)
