The adventure starts deep within the magical forests of Central Scandinavia and near the mansion of an aged, but powerful, gnome King. As is the tradition in the gnome society, whenever a king reaches his 350th birthday, procedures commence to choose a successor. Your recent accomplishments for a youth of 114 years makes you a prime contender for the throne, but the feats required to achieve your goal are not easy. Seven pages from an ancient gnome scripture have been scattered across the years of time by an evil Cyclops. These pages describe the magical procedure required to free many of your kind who have been trapped by spirits within the trees of the gnome forest. To earn your right to the throne, you must undertake perilous voyages back and forth in time to locate, acquire and return these pages to the forest. Your final goal of deciphering the scriptures message will allow you to perform the special magic required to free your fellow gnomes and become Gnome King.

Biggles is a two-game program following the adventures of the famous World War I hero created by W E Johns. But there's a difference - our hero now has a time twin living in the 1980's, and there's a mysterious link between their lives.

The first game, TIMEWARP, is in three parts. You (Biggles) mist locate the deadly new German weapon and photograph it, find its test site, then escape from the police in modern-day London with the secret code.

The second game, THE SOUND WEAPON, finds you at the controls of a police helicopter - on the Western Front in 1917! You must make strategic use of your friends and equipment to make the final assault on the weapon.

With Biggles, you CAN be a hero!

Use the joystick to select a course and press fire. The race begins. Drive your race-tuned Baja Bug along the race track, passing through gates and collecting flags for points. Time gates give you an additional two seconds on the next leg so drive through them if you can. Collecting the flags in the specified order gives you extra points. Avoid hitting the fences, walls, trees etc. as they flip your buggy over and slow you down. You are competing against the clock so don't waste time, push the pedal flat to the floor. Try jumping obstacles by hitting the logs that lie across the track, Show off your driving skills by running over molehills and tree stumps, tipping your car onto two wheels - see how long you can keep your buggy in this trick position. Fasten your seat belt for the ride of your life.
